About us

WTM AB was founded in 1992 in Munka Ljungby outside Ängelholm in Skåne, with a vision to automate and develop solutions for waste management and sorting.

History

In 1993, the first bag-handling system for hospitals was delivered to Västerås Hospital. That same year, the first vessel drainer was constructed.

Today, WTM AB delivers solutions for healthcare in Europe, Asia and the Americas, as well as material and waste solutions for industry and large retail.

Our philosophy

Our purpose is to help our customers with the challenges and needs that arise in their operations. This has led to the development of more than 500 systems and products since 1992. Some have become standard products, while others have become bespoke systems.

Customers such as Absolut Vodka, IKEA, AstraZeneca and GeKås, along with the majority of Swedish hospitals, attest to the breadth and depth of our expertise.
